His impersonation of the South African Ambassador to Monte Carlo is falling flat and failing to impress anyone (why on earth would South Africa have an ambassador to a foreign city instead of a whole country?), he is in purshit of a hoity toity society lady who is apparently trying to defraud an insurance company out of R500 000 because of her stolen jewels as well as her accomplace, a stunt crazy thief, a stowaway on board a Venice bound ship who is slowly wearing both him and his patience down and the fact that, during an onboard clay pigeon shoot, he proves that he is a bad shot with a high powered shotgun. So bad in fact that he probably could not his a cows bum with a banjo. Aside from the facts that he conceals a corpse in a deck recliner and is slowly falling in love with one of the suspects has his boss breathing down his neck at every opportunity, has to endure idiotic gondollers who stop for traffic lights in the Venetian canals, sends the glass market tumbling along with the entire contents of a glassware store and is also starting to care for his cute stowaway friend, things are going great.
